Prepare For Shotgun Season

Summer has been flying by and shotgun season is right around the corner. Ask yourself, have you taken the time to prepare your shotgun for hunting season yet? Well, if you haven’t we are here to remind you now is the perfect time to start preparing for the shotgun season. Check out some tips from our experts at Nemo Arms on what you can start doing now to start preparing for the season.

Gather Your Gear

Regardless of how you ended last season, chances are when it was over you gave a deep clean to your gear and stored it away. You didn’t go through what you had, what you’re missing for next season, and definitely haven’t looked at it since. It’s best to find all of your gear and lay it out in one convenient location. Look at what you have, and see what you may be missing to make this year a success. If you previously weren’t storing your shotgun barrel in our Barrel and Stock Sock Set, you may want to consider getting one.

Clean Up

However you cleaned up your gear following last season, pre-season prep is an ideal time to give your gear that deep clean it really needs. With everything being in storage the past several months, take the first steps in starting out your season right by giving your gear the cleaning it deserves.

Determine what items need cleaning, and the appropriate ways to clean them. Once you know what you have to tackle, you can start scheduling your time to devote to getting everything in tip top shape before the season starts. There’s no better way to start out your season than with everything cleaned and ready for whatever’s on your agenda. If you are in need of cleaning supplies to help properly clean your gun, check out Nemo Arms shotgun Cleaning Kits. We have them available for both 12 and 20 gauge shotguns.

Whether it’s replacement parts, upgrades to what you currently have, or just something new you’ve had your eye on wanting to add to your lineup, it’s time to start making a list of the products you need. If you’ve been thinking about upgrading your gun, it might just be the time to do so. If you’re interested in learning more about premium shotguns, check out our Nemo Arms shotguns on our website.

Brace Notice

On November 8, 2023, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas granted the Plaintiff’s motion for a preliminary injunction staying ATF’s recently enacted rule regarding stabilizing/arm braces for pistols in its entirety. A copy of the court’s order has been made available to me.

ATF appealed this decision to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on November 29, 2023, and that appeal is currently pending. As a result, the legal status of stabilizing/arm braces for pistols has not been resolved with finality and is subject to change via this appeal, or otherwise, without warning or notice. Buyer accepts sole responsibility for any such legal changes and their impact on the status of the purchased firearm, and acknowledges that all sales of stabilizing/arm brace equipped firearms are final.
