2A Armament is now NEMO Arms

2A Arms and NEMO Arms have a long history and we couldn’t be more excited about how the acquisition of 2A will allow NEMO to expand, improve, and broaden the portfolio of products available to you.

With the acquisition of 2A, NEMO Arms will continue to produce some of the more popular 2A products but they will be branded under the NEMO name going forward.  We’ve made a list below to help clarify what you will find released within the NEMO portfolio in 2024 and what is being discontinued.

NEMO will honor all 2A Armament warranties and we will continue to provide the same high level of support for 2A product along with our NEMO products.

If you are looking for remaining 2A branded product, please check with the following dealers:

2A Product being rebranded NEMO Arms Product Note
Builder Series Parts 2A’s line of builder series parts was extremely popular due to the quality manufacturing, reliability, and ability to work with other mil-spec components. The majority of the builder series line will be kept as the NEMO Arms Builder Series.
Palouse receivers and rifles The Palouse will be renamed the Nemo FX and will be a more affordable AR15 platform with forged receiver and the builder series components. This will be NEMOs primary platform.
Balios-Lite receivers and rifles 2A was a leader in lightweight rifles with reliability in-tact. We will be updating and re-releasing this popular line under the NEMO brand in 2024.
X5 and T3 Muzzle Devices These are a popular item and will add to our portfolio of muzzle breaks and accessories.
Select Aluminum and Titanium Parts These are popular and unique items that we will continue to offer under the NEMO name.
All Bolt Carrier Groups These are a foundational product that can be used in all build types from lightweight to standard ARs
2A Product being discontinued Product Note
All Aethon Parts and Rifles This billet receiver set overlaps our existing Battle-Light line.
All Xanthos Parts and Rifles The Xanthos was a large frame platform very similar to our XO platform. We believe the fit finish and ambi features of our XO are a better product for our customers.
All Palouse-Lite Receivers and Rifles The Palouse-Lite was a forged receiver set with additional material removed for aesthetic looks and weight reduction. This extra process makes the product more expensive. Since NEMO’s existing Battle-Light is a superior fit, finish and design (in our opinion) we have opted not to move forward with the lightened forged product for now.
X3, X4, and T4 Muzzle Devices These were duplicate to existing muzzle breaks NEMO will offer.
2A sourced barrels NEMO now has the ability to manufacture barrels in house, so we will be launching a robust new line of barrels.
Select Parts Many parts mirrored NEMO's existing parts such as takedown pins, barrel nuts, gas blocks and buffer tubes. Nemo will carry a full line of these products.

Brace Notice

On November 8, 2023, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas granted the Plaintiff’s motion for a preliminary injunction staying ATF’s recently enacted rule regarding stabilizing/arm braces for pistols in its entirety. A copy of the court’s order has been made available to me.

ATF appealed this decision to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on November 29, 2023, and that appeal is currently pending. As a result, the legal status of stabilizing/arm braces for pistols has not been resolved with finality and is subject to change via this appeal, or otherwise, without warning or notice. Buyer accepts sole responsibility for any such legal changes and their impact on the status of the purchased firearm, and acknowledges that all sales of stabilizing/arm brace equipped firearms are final.
